Playa Hermosa, or Hermosa Beach is located 12 kilometers north of Playas del Coco and before Playa
Panama. The name is translated into Beautiful Beach and it proudly stands for it's name.
There are 2 main entrances to the beach from the main road and it's the second biggest town in the area after
Coco Beach. You will find hotels, resorts, restaurants, small grocery stores, condominiums and upscale
homes around the area.
Hermosa proudly holds the Blue Flag Award, which is awarded in Costa Rica to those beaches that have a
high cleanliness level.
